We are all aware that recycling is very important for the environment.
To help the environment, the Cornwater Club Charity Shop actively encourages members of the public and businesses to bring us their old and worn textiles. We sell these items to a textile merchant who recycles them and sends them to Africa or Eastern Europe or he converts them into industrial rags. Not only does our charity generate much needed funds but it helps to save the environment by not sending these items to landfill.
We will accept old:
worn, torn, stained clothing
shoes and bags
bedding sheets and blankets, but not duvets
tablecloths and towels
pieces of material
If you have other items and are unsure as to whether we can accept them please phone the shop on 01623 656133; they will be happy to advise you.
