You are here: Home The Cornwater club
The Cornwater Club is a friendly, lively club which offers members the opportunity to come and meet like minded older people.
The club runs three days a week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm at Ravens Lodge.
Staff run the sessions with the support of volunteers. Throughout the day there are a variety of activities on offer, some members do all of these activities, others pick and choose; some are happy to read and have a chat. Club Activities and Services
Refreshments are available throughout the day and a freshly prepared two course meal, which is cooked on the premises, is served at every session.
Our members are drawn from many areas of Nottinghamshire; however, transport is only available for those members living in Ravenshead and Blidworth. Members from outside of this area make their own transport arrangements. Transport
Members are welcome to attend as many sessions as they like during the week, although booking is essential. There is no upper or lower age limit.
If you would like to come and meet us all and experience a session, we offer a free taster day. Please see How to become a member.
The Cornwater Club is operated by Cornwater Clubs (Ravenshead) Ltd, both a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The clubs affairs are overseen by a Board of Volunteer Directors, all local residents, with experience in various branches of commerce and the professions.
